Camco Chemical announced the purchase of an 18-acre property in Florence with plans to expand its footprint in Northern Kentucky.

Camco expects to invest $4 million to upgrade and renovate the entire property, with work commencing immediately and expected to be complete by the second quarter of 2025. Property upgrades will include additional dock doors, exterior concrete and blacktop for improved truck and trailer access and interior renovations, according to the release.

Crescent Springs-based Furlong Building is the general contractor on the project.

The company plans to use 85,000 square feet of the building and lease out the rest. John Gartner, with Colliers International, will market the space.
