In this role, you’ll work closely with our Vice President of Construction, managing multiple commercial and industrial projects. You’ll play a critical role in project estimating, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and ensuring quality and safety from start to finish.
Requires Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field plus 10+ years of experience.
Must have Strong estimating and takeoff skills.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, Procore, and Bluebeam.
Experience with commercial/industrial construction projects.

Furlong Building is Hiring, and we’re looking for an experienced and highly motivated Superintendent to join our team.
In this role, you’ll work closely with the Project Manager and carry responsibility for the overall success of each project from inception through final close-out, overseeing all on-site construction activities while managing project quality, schedule, safety, coordination, and customer satisfaction.
Day to day, you’ll provide on-site project coordination and supervision, hold subcontractors and suppliers to the project schedule and specifications, coordinate required testing and inspections with consulting engineers and the Owner’s representatives, and oversee safety and housekeeping in compliance with OSHA standards. You’ll schedule and lead coordination meetings, review shop drawings, monitor manpower and production levels, track the schedule and budget, and keep field documentation current, including daily Field Reports, as-built drawings, permits, and project close-out documentation. You’ll also purchase incidental materials, coordinate equipment rentals, and maintain accountability for company tools and equipment.
Requires eight or more years of industrial and ground-up construction experience preferred, plus proven experience managing and coordinating projects from start to finish.
Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, scheduling, quality control, and OSHA safety requirements.
Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate project documentation.
Ability and willingness to travel as required.
